Pumpkin "Spice"

Posted by Sara McDonald on

It is that time of year - thousands upon thousands of large, round, orange squash will be sacrificed in the name of porch decor. It's pumpkin carving season. I have to admit, I do love a skillfully designed pumpkin, warmly glowing on a chilly October evening. Even the most basic Jack-o-lantern face brings me a certain joy.

But for those who are seriously considering stepping up their pumpkin carving game, Ray Villafane sets the bar pretty high. Take a look at these pumpkin masterpieces, and then try not to be discouraged as you stand before your blank orange canvas with your carving tools in hand. Don't worry, there will be a place for all pumpkins this October.

In the meantime, I'm just gonna leave this right here...
